Tulsi Gabbard announces she will be running for President of the United States

United Sates' Senator for the State of Hawai'i, Tulsi Gabbbard, who is an outspoken opponent of the United States' meddling in Syria and elsewhere, has announced that she will be a candidate in the 2020 Presidential election. Tusli Gabbard clearly stands head and shoulders above any other candidate in terms of her appeal, her stated resolve to confront the criminal United States military-industrial complex which poses a grave threat all of humanity in 2019, and her prospect of defeating the candidates who are in its pockets. Her candidacy represents as great a hope for humanity as was JFK's candidacy in 1960. In the 6:37 minute embedded Twitter video, Tulsi explains the reasons for which she is standing.

US Election 2020 - Tulsi Gabbard challenges Clinton to fight openly

Tulsi Gabbard is the only anti-war candidate for the upcoming US presidential elections. For this reason, she has been slandered by most mass media and largely ignored by her own party. Yet, she is an impressive candidate in a distinctly lackluster field, and the only one with real experience in war. She is the first female combat veteran to run for president. She is also the first Samoan American, and a Hindu. She is a member of the Democratic Party and represents Hawaii in Congress. She has just responded to a veiled attack by Hillary Clinton on Twitter, in a tweet as sensational as any that Trump has come up with.

Gabbard Says She’d Drop All Charges Against Assange And Snowden – Caitlin Johnstone

In midst of an interesting and wide-ranging discussion on the Joe Rogan Experience, Democratic congresswoman and presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard said that if elected president she would drop all charges against NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden and WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange.

“What would you do about Julian Assange? What would you do about Edward Snowden?” Rogan asked in the latter part of the episode.

“As far as dropping the charges?” Gabbard asked.

“If you’re president of the world right now, what do you do?”

“Yeah, dropping the charges,” Gabbard replied.

Rogan noted that Sweden’s preliminary investigation of rape allegations has just been re-opened, saying the US government can’t stop that, and Gabbard said as president she’d drop the US charges leveled against Assange by the Trump administration.

United States Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard: The Syrian people desperately want peace

As much of Washington prepared for the inauguration of President Donald Trump, I spent last week on a fact-finding mission in Syria and Lebanon to see and hear directly from the Syrian people. Their lives have been consumed by a horrific war that has killed hundreds of thousands of Syrians and forced millions to flee their homeland in search of peace. It is clear now more than ever: this regime change war does not serve America’s interest, and it certainly isn’t in the interest of the Syrian people. “President-elect Trump and I had a frank and positive conversation in which we discussed a variety of foreign policy issues in depth. I shared with him my grave concerns that escalating the war in Syria by implementing a so-called no fly/safe zone would be disastrous for the Syrian people, our country, and the world. It would lead to more death and suffering, exacerbate the refugee crisis, strengthen ISIS and al-Qaeda, and bring us into a direct conflict with Russia which could result in a nuclear war. We discussed my bill to end our country’s illegal war to overthrow the Syrian government, and the need to focus our precious resources on rebuilding our own country, and on defeating al-Qaeda, ISIS, and other terrorist groups who pose a threat to the American people. For years, the issue of ending interventionist, regime change warfare has been one of my top priorities. This was the major reason I ran for Congress—I saw firsthand the cost of war, and the lives lost due to the interventionist warmongering policies our country has pursued for far too long."

Tulsi Gabbard is a Hindu, a veteran of the Iraq war, an American politician and member of the Democratic Party who has been the United States Representative for Hawaii's 2nd congressional district since 2013.
