The Australian Greens

No human being is illegal?

New wave of asylum seekers could be coming our way.
According to the Australian Greens, Australian society, culture and the economy has benefited, and will continue to benefit, from immigration of people from around the world.
They are also lobbying for the planning for climate change refugees with a particular focus on the Asia-Pacific region.
We still haven't, despite advances in science and technology, solved the limitations of nature, and we still can't harness extreme weather or reign in natural disasters.

Greens' dilution of their conservation effort

If one checks the policies of the Australian Greens Party ('The Greens') on its website - of their 44 policies, some 28 are NOT directly related to environmental conservation, but instead 'social justice'. So where is the so-called 'Greens' Party headed and if most of their policies are NOT concentrated on core green conservation - does this political party deserve to retain its morally mandate for driving the 'green agenda' and should it morally brand itself big G 'Green'?

The Greens will remain marginalised while they themselves marginalise and idealise

The reasons The Greens remain a marginal alternative party are:

1. They exclude those not ideologically 'green', so alienation keeps them alienated from the mainstream

2. They do not translate their idealistic ideology into pragmatic shovel-ready policy initiatives with dollar values and immediate costed implementation plans; so they remain perceived as a futurist think tank, not regarded as a real-time alternative executive government.
